The low cut Mountain Mucks out in its second generation now with new and improved gusset in leather. The Mountain Mucks are handcrafted in Montebelluna from the finest vegetable tanned full grain leather. Carefully welted the Norwegian style.
The mountain mucks feature the unique layering system with a separate inner boot. This system makes the boots incredibly comfortable, reduced risk of blisters, increasing warmth and breathability. It makes drying much faster after a day out in the wet field when separated from the outer boot. The Inner boots also function as a great pair of slippers when inside.

Best boot I’ve ever owned hands down!
So, I received my mucks today and am ecstatic with my purchase. The quality of the materials, the build and exceptionally great styling make these an all around winner. They fit true to size and feel like they will last a lifetime. I feel as prepared as ever for our overly harsh winters in the north eastern U.S. I would highly recommend purchasing and am already contemplating a second pair with the gaiters attached. Excellent, excellent work. 5/5. Would purchase again.
Wow!! These are the boots I’ve been looking for. They have a feel of tradition, absolute craftsmanship with comfort and functionality. They met my expectations to a high bar that I already had from Amundsen gear already own. It is so refreshing to know that in an age of mass produced mediocrity, I had kind of accepted was an inevitability with modern outdoor gear, that there remains an option for excellence that stands firmly with the rigours and joy of the adventures in my life.
