Wax

It remains apart of Huberd’s unique effectiveness to renew leather and extend the comfort and life of boots, shoes, and all fine leather. Contains no animal fats or solvents. Recommended for heavy work and outdoor gear and leather goods.
Huberd’s How To:
1. Before use – thoroughly clean your boots, remove all dirt, and make sure that both the boots and grease are warmed to room temperature.
2. Rub grease into the leather with hands or soft cloth. Carefully grease where soles join uppers and all stitching. Allow grease to penetrate the leather then apply another coat.
3. After shoes have once been treated apply as needed to maintain waterproofing and conditioning of leather.

Nearly 100 Years of Making Grease
A. E. Huberd founded his shoe grease company in McMinnville Oregon in 1921. In his workshop, A. E. concocted a beeswax and pine-tar formula that he introduced to logging camps and sold to lumberjacks. The lumbermen throughout the region helped Mr. Huberd improve his formula, build his customer base, and establish a thriving manufacturing company. Huberd’s products are made in the same way today.
Carrying on the Tradition
Huberd Shoe Grease products continue to be handcrafted in small batches with the original equipment from 1944. Every tray of every item in Huberd’s product line is poured, stacked, lidded, capped, and boxed by hand ensuring consistency and quality. The small dedicated team at Huberd’s continue to ensure that each batch is measured and blended exactly as A.E. Huberd had intended for your leather products. The attention to ingredient and blending detail guarantees a consistent product ensuring your leather is preserved and protected while carrying on the tradition of a family-run business.
